Hello, I hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend. It’s a bit dull here in Lutterworth, but never mind. My son has just phoned me from New Zealand.
We had a long chat and it felt like he was talking to me in the next room. Can’t wait to see them all again soon. I also had a phone call from my eldest grandson. It’s
always nice to catch up with grandchildren and see what ‘s going on in their lives..
I had a lovely day in London on Thursday with members of the Romantic Novelists’ Association. We were at the Grange Strathmore hotel in South Kensington.
My friend Margaret and I had lunch at a quaint little cafe called Allan’s on Duke Street before the meeting. It was a beautiful sunny day and we sat outside.
After the meeting we relocated to a nearby pub for wine chat and a catch up with friends old and new.
I’m hoping to make the Winter party at the Royal Over-Seas League in November.
Ta for now.
