Radio Blog Talk

I’m looking forward to Dellani’s Oakes Blog Talk Radio show tomorrow evening at 9pm. I’ll be reading a short excerpt from Where the Shamrocks Grow and chatting a while with Dellani. It is to celebrate the 4th anniversary of my publisher, Tirgearr Publishing.  Eleven Tirgearr authors will be joining in the celebration and talking about their books.  It should be fun. RNA Chapter

Eighteen  romantic novelists’ turned up for our monthly chapter at the Belmont Hotel in Leicester on 6th Feb 2015. It was a very noisey chatterly lunch with an update on everyone’s recent news and publications with a cake to celebrate. It’s surprising how enlightening these gatherings can be. It’s also a nice break from working at the computer for hours on end without another author to talk and discuss things with. Yes, we have Facebook and all the other networking sites, but nothing compares to a face to face chat. There is always something new to hear and learn about from other writers on the changing face of publishing.  A group such as the Romantic Novelists’ have a wealth of knowledge and talent to impart.   Ta for now Cathy x...

I’m back

After a wonderful 2014 I’m keeping my fingers crossed for 2015.  So far it’s been amazing. Two new books are due out in print this year and also audio and large print. That is all good news for me. I hope  readers’ who have enjoyed Shadow Across the Liffey and Her Father’s Daughter in print will also enjoy Galway Girl and Where the Shamrocks Grow. My publishers, Tirgearr had a book sale from Christmas Day through to end of January and this has boosted sales of all four books. Unfortunately for readers’ they are now back to top price. I have a few events coming up soon and will post about them later.  And I’m writing a fifth romantic suspense set in Dublin. So watch this space. Ta for now.   Cathy...

London!

Hello, I hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend.  It’s a bit dull here in Lutterworth, but never mind.  My son has just phoned me from New Zealand. We had a long chat and it felt like he was talking to me in the next room. Can’t wait to see them all again soon.  I also had a phone call from my eldest grandson. It’s always nice to catch up with grandchildren and see what ‘s going on in their lives..   I had  a lovely day in London on Thursday with members of the Romantic Novelists’ Association. We were at the Grange Strathmore hotel in South Kensington. My friend Margaret and I had lunch at a quaint little cafe called Allan’s on Duke Street before the meeting.  It was a beautiful sunny day and we sat outside. After the meeting we relocated to a nearby pub for wine chat and a catch up with friends old and new. I’m hoping to make the Winter party at the Royal Over-Seas League in November. Ta for now....

Hello!

Sorry I’ve been locked out of my blog for a while. Just heard that some of my family will be visiting soon from New Zealand.  Really looking forward to that and seeing my newest grandson, Forrest James, for the first time.  Seeing them on Skype is brilliant, but to be able to give them a hug will be much nicer. To add to that, all four of my books have been taken up for library large print and audio in 2015 Where the Shamrocks Grow has recently been released as an ebook from www.tirgearrpublishing.com and the Amazon uk and us sites. Ta for...
